Care and maintenance

Wipe the stone with a damp cloth for everyday dust and debris. For stains, use a soft sponge or lint-free rag with mild detergent and warm water, then rinse the detergent off thoroughly and let the surface dry completely before covering it. Soot on the ceramic spheres is normal and rinses away with water. Cool the cast iron griddle fully, wash it in warm soapy water, dry it immediately rather than letting it drip, and wipe a thin film of cooking oil across it to protect the seasoning.
